EXperimental Puppetry Theater
XPT is the Center for Puppetry Arts' yearly program for artists experimenting with puppetry.The program offers up to $450 in seed budget, assistance from the CPA's talented staff, and a chance to develop your awesome idea!
Projects are completed from early February until May when XPT produces your work for a one week run.
You can apply as a director with your own project - up to 12 minutes long in any style of puppetry: marionettes, stop-motion film, hand puppets, rod puppets, shadows, robotics, masks, toy theater, automata,etc.
Or you can apply as an individual interested in performing, building, playing music, or any other skill or talent you bring to bear.
